2018 Commencement Address

WHAT IS COMMENCEMENT?

Commencement is the formal induction for all new students at ANU. It’s an opportunity to hear from the Vice-Chancellor, notable graduates and other great speakers about what makes ANU such an exciting place. Expect a fun event full of colour and excitement and the opportunity to get to meet some fantastic people.

WHO IS SPEAKING IN 2018?

In 2018, ANU graduate and 2016 ANU Postgraduate Student of the Year, Assistant Professor Jessa Rogers, will give the Commencement keynote address. Jessa is an exciting education leader who has a passion for education and empowerment of Aboriginal women. The event will also feature a traditional Welcome to Country, remarks from the Vice-Chancellor, and other great speakers.
